Meet Our Founder

Founded by the illustrious Ronaldo Candido, a 3rd Degree Black Belt certified by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation, our academy boasts the most experienced and decorated instructor in Michigan. Ronaldo's accolades speak volumes: he is an 8-time State Champion, Pan Pacific Champion, 2-time Pan-American Champion, and a remarkable 3-time World Champion. Additionally, he brings a wealth of experience as a former MMA fighter and undefeated South American Champion, having also showcased his talents as a contender on the UFC TV show "The Ultimate Fighter Season 24: The Tournament of Champions."

Ronaldo has had the privilege of coaching top-tier talent, including serving as the Jiu-Jitsu Coach for "The Ultimate Fighter Season 23" team of UFC Fighter Claudia Gadelha, and training one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time, former UFC Featherweight Champion and Hall of Famer Jose Aldo Jr.
